New Tour Routes Introduced for 2009 Season:
To millions of visitors from all parts of the world, the Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Glacier, and Yosemite national parks are truly a remarkable places of inspiration.  As the rest of the world changes, these parks remain a place of solace, introspection, and reflection.  The majestic landscapes, free-flowing waters, and magnificent wildlife are a place for pure air and natural quite.  However, the feedback we have received from some clients indicates that not everyone is ready or able to spend 2-weeks touring on a motorcycle.  For the 2009 season we are adding several new tours that will be 3, 4, 6 and 10 days in length.  For the 2009 season our "scheduled" offering will consist of one Yellowstone tour,  two 3-day Lolo Pass/Lost Trail tours, two 4-day Old Road Twisty tours, and two 6-day Route 66 tours. In addition, in recognition of the fact that our schedules may not always be convenient to our clients we will also offer "custom" tours on most of our routes if we have a minimum of 6 bikes and about 45-60 days notice required to get all of the lodging arrangements in place.  If a custom tour better fits your schedule then contact us and we will work with you.  Don't be shy, we love a challenge!!

Sawtooth Motorcycle Tours

Craters of the Moon National Monument, IdahoThe Sawtooth Motorcycle Touring Company offers guided motorcycle tours to several U.S. National Parks in the Western States, for experienced motorcycle riders, who are seeking a memorable and fully inclusive vacation experience on Harley-Davidson® motorcycles.  We like to focus on International riders who wish to see and tour the vast open spaces of the west.  Of course, everyone is welcome to come and ride with us.

For the 2009 riding season we are introducing several shorter tours that will explore specific parts of Idaho and in addition, we are introducing a Route 66 tour that will explore the most historical part of the old road in Arizona and parts of the Grand Canyon and other US National Parks in southern Utah.

Our routes are best suited for motorcyclists, who are skilled and experienced in handling large touring motorcycles on virtually any road. Our clients should have several thousand miles and several years of experience on a motorcycle of the size taken on our tours. Typical clients have an interest, perhaps a dream, of exploring the ruggedness and uniqueness of the Western United States, particularly our famous National Parks and open spaces on a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle. Our prospects prefer to have all arrangements and logistics preplanned, and they want the service of knowledgeable guides to provide insight and information about the scenic, geographic, and local conditions they will be visiting. Our clients book with Sawtooth Motorcycle Tours, LLC because they know every detail will be attended to. They may bring their significant other, and most importantly they want assurances that the entire tour will be hassle free and enjoyable. As an all-inclusive tour they expect to keep their wallets in their pockets except for customary or incidental personal expenses.  While we do not rent motorcycles we can assist with arrangements to rent your motorcycle from several different sources such as the local Harley-Davidson® dealer, EagleRider, or other as needed.  Some of our clients ride their own bikes, some choose to rent a bike they want to try out.

We have designed this website to be as interactive as possible and welcome our guests and clients to explore, comment, and make suggestions for improvements.  We also hope you will share and add your own experiences to our BLOG and refer our company and website to your riding colleagues.  Finally feel free to register with us by clicking on the Register button at the right top of the home page.  We will periodically send newsletters and updated tour information to those who Register.
